instead of just using the graphics card processor as just a graphics
processor, why not use it as (an admittedly limited purpose) vector/matrix
processor - a highly optimised one? where sli and so forth gives a fairly
well optimised parallelisation. You can also have several of these cards
plugged into an NT or Win98 box as well...
you dont have to use them for displaying images!
