Hi All

I have a question on filesystem quotas. Firstly, does the linux-2.2.5-22
kernel have built-in support for quotas? Supposing it does (there is a
bootup message that suggests this is the case), how do you set quotas
for a group?

If I want to set a quota for the "year2" group to 30Mb for each member
of that group and issue the command:

# edquota -g year2

I get a file opened up with the line in it:

Quotas for group year2:

If I enter "30" or "30MB", and then type:

# quota -g year2
Disk quotas for group year2 : none

There seems to be no documentation about what to put in this file that
opens up after you type "edquota -g year2" and has the line "Quotas for
group year2" in it.

I have tried all sorts of other things. If anyone knows how to set up
group and individual quotas and get back to me, that would be great.

Thanks

Hugo
