Hello,
Forgive me if this is a duplicate posting, but I've been rather
uncertain about my system's performance lately.
I've got slackware 4.0 on a dual boot machine with windows 95. I'm using
in slackware isapnptools version 1.18 to configure my isa pnp cards, the
one problem card is the modem. I use loadlin to load slackware if that
matters. I load linux, everything is fine, then shutdown and restart the
machine, not a cold shutdown, and go in to 95, my modem is moved, it's
conflicting with com2. Both 95 and slackware have it set up on com3, the
only way I can get it to come back to me is to shut the machine down cold
and restart it. This machine does not have a plug and play BIOS if that
matters.
Suggestions/explanations welcome.
Thanks.
Dave.
