I just removed the case to try re-seating the bus. Here are the following results: - when it has the power supply cable removed but has the bus inside the cd-rom drive obviously doesn't show the light but the HDs' LEDz still go haywire. - when I remove the bus and the power supply from the cd-rom drive I get nothing from the cd-rom drive and the HDs' LEDs work normally. - when I keep the bus out of the cd-rom drive but keep the power supply in I get normal HD LED activity and normal cd-rom drive and LED activity. >From this I have concluded (though might be wrong) that the problem is in the bus.
