How do I disable CTRL-C being picked up during boot up? Press CTRL-C
a few times whilst the machine is booting. At the point the kernel
attempts to start the system daemons, messages such as the following
appear:

touch: /var/lock/subsys/network: No such file or directory
touch: /var/run/random-seed: No such file or directory
chmod: /var/run/random-seed: No such file or directory
touch: /var/lock/subsys/random: No such file or directory

Starting cron daemon:
execvp: No such file or directory

touch /var/lock/subsys/crond: No such file or directory

Starting gpm mouse services:
execvp: No such file or directory

touch: /var/lock/subsys/gpm: No such file or directory

INIT: Id "1" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes
INIT: no more processes left in this runlevel
INIT: Id "1" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes

Release that obvious fix is not to type CTRL-C as machine
is booting. However, I cannot prevent inquisitive users
from doing this!

Kernel in use is RedHat Linux 6.0 release 2.2.5-22.

Any help is very much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Kind Regards,

David Carson
