NT to Linux Internet migration.

I only have one modem and that is currently on my NT box.  I want to move
this to the Linux box, and still be able to access the internet and my
e-mail from the NT machine.  Is this possible?  I have a static IP address
form my ISP for the ppp interface but use 192.168.xxx.xxx on all other
interfaces.  I assume I will need to set up a proxy server ?
