I have just set up my first dedicated Linux server and have already come
across a problem. All network services seem to work fine except for when a
client tries to initiate an FTP or Telnet connection. It takes two minutes
before I get a login prompt. Once logged in transfers seem very fast (i.e.
normal). HTTP connections seem fine also, as does communication from the
server to other machines. Any help would be much appreciated.
