Hello,

I'd like to ask, if someone on the list have an experience with a
disk-less station booting process.

I have tried to make two boot-disks, but was not successful. As a
workaround I am now trying to boot the PC via net.

But I have still the same problem: init refuses to work. I tried to copy
bash instead of init, and now I am getting this message

auto: can't open auto: no such file

I have checked the dynamic libraries which the exec loads via "ldd init"
and all of them seem to be present. However, when I replace the exec with
my own "Hello world" program, it runs ok.

Anyone knows what could be the problem? Any ideas will be greatly
appreciated. If someone has a working root-fs on a floppy, I'd very
appreciate if he could pass it to me.

Thank you in advance,
Petr
