I can't remember what WM RH5.0 uses but for the question regarding RH 6.0
if you are still using the default WM (enlightenment) the option you are
looking for is in the Enlightenment Config Editor (middle click on
background of X) and is called Sloppy-Pointer (under Basic Options near
the bottom.)
