HI,

I have bought an IDE CD writer and I don't know if it is supported by Linux.
I tried to install it.
I have recompiled my kernel (2.2.5-15) with the options of generic scsi
support, scsi emulation, scsci CDROM support.
On reboot, my system find well the CD writer, so I start Xcdroast which find
it too like a scsi drive. But when I start
writing on the cd-w, xcdroast kills himself and an error message appears
like this through all my virtual screens :
" scsi bus busy, lun .. ....,try to reset, reset"
" scsi bus busy, lun .. ....,try to reset, reset"
" scsi bus busy, lun .. ....,try to reset, reset"
" scsi bus busy, lun .. ....,try to reset, reset"

Please Help me ....

thanks and happy new year ...-
