Can anyon tell me how to go about adding a 2nd hard drive to a RedHat 6.1 Linux system. It isn't the same as in UNIX, and I can't find any info anywhere. The existing system is a server setup on a 3.2 GB drive, but we had a spare 1.2GB drive lying around so I've added it into the server. RedHat detected it and asked if I wanted to use it - Yes - but I don't see where to go from here. I assume it's now /dev/hdb, but I can't access it. Do I need to run mkfs first? How do I format it? I want to add it into the /home partition. Can anyone help? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Unless otherwise agreed expressly in writing by Fesa UK Limited, this communication should be treated as confidential and the information contained therein may not be used or disclosed except for the purpose for which it was sent.
