There is a system wide cron file in /etc/cron.daily called tmpwatch. This
file calles /usr/sbin/tmpwatch with an argument as to how the maximum age
a file can be before it gets deleted. The default is 10 days.

To fix: rm /etc/cron.daily/tmpwatch
