Hi Everybody,

I am administrating an INTRANET system which has been
connected to the Internet via router since last 6 months. All the
Web documents and information placed in the server, till now,
could be accessed from the Internet. But now I want certain
information in my Web server to be accessed only by our particular
network clients and reject all the remaining requests from other
networks.

I did this using the router access-list but i want to pass those
clients a message "You are not from our network, so the
permission is denied" . How can I find out the network address of
the connecting user and pass this information to him?? Further,
only certain HTML pages are to be blocked.

Hope u understand what i m saying. Also suggest me if password
protection is better or any other way to do this???

Regards,
Thakur Gyawali
