The way NOT to do this (although it "mostly" works) is to use a
"Repy-To: " header... yeech, very ugly. (However, doing this will
work for most purposes -- but beware that it will trip you up sooner
or later if you do it this way).

A very common configuration...

It isn't easy to spot - especially as it probably isn't actually
there (yet), nor obvious.
Warnning: never attempt to edit sendmail.cf by hand unless it is for
some very minor tweaking/testing and you know EXACTLY what you are
doing. In all my years of using unix (9+), the /etc/sendmail.cf
config file must be the ugliest thing I have ever seen... it is NOT
meant for human consumption (unless you are into having big
headaches! :-)
You'll need to re-make the sendmail config file (using m4 to
generate it from an .mc file) to put in support to use a
"genericstable" to remap your local login address to your email
address. For example, I have in my own /etc/mail/genericstable the
following entry:
tony [EMAIL PROTECTED]
... which does the trick quite nicely.
In your case, you would have:
larry [EMAIL PROTECTED]
(ie: name<TAB>address - note the tab deliminator, no
spaces).
You will need to read the documentation (as you have to make a ".db"
file etc)... look at the README file in the cf/ directory (on redhat
systems, install the sendmail-cf package and look in
/usr/lib/sendmail-cf/), and then at the sendmail web site:
http://www.sendmail.org/
Cheers
Tony
