Ghost works well for me here (enterprise network-enabled edition,
using it from dos boot disks and PXE dos boot images with a samba
server).  Brilliant utility.  One day I hope they produce a
full-blown linux-based version of it.  (Better still, let the open
source people give nortons a run for their money :-)

I HAD to upgrade to the latest 6.03 version for it to work with ext2
partitions with boot sectors.

And the only way to get the upgraded version was to - AARGH!!! -
install an NT server [oh, forgive me!], so that I could install the
6.01 version from the cdrom then do a "live update" from there.

I haven't experienced any problems with booting a new install.
