go for redhat as it is available easily with the  pcq mag cd's and make
two partitions. one linux native and the other linux swap. The size of
the swap partition should genrally be twice the ram if you have less
than 32mb or equal to the ram if > 32mb, but it is only my way of doing
others may prefer differently.
