I have Mandreake Linux 7.0 with Apache 1.3.9. When I fire up my browser
and do a "localhost"
Netscape gives an error. Does Apache NEED inetd or will httpd be enough?
Also how do I configure virtual directories in Apache(not virtual domains).
what I want is "localhost/virtualdirectoryname" .I need to do this without
putting the directory in home/httpd
The actual directory can be abc in say location x. How do I give a different
alias name for "abc" say "xyz" i.e localhost/xyz will open the contents of
dir abc.
