hey guys ...
i installed linux on a friend's machine and everything works fine , except
for the modem !
its a gvc lanbit modem 33.6Kbps modem . i tried using kppp and pppdial from
X but that didn't recognize the modem , then i tried wvdial , it would
connect to VSNL and then immediately disconnect and say Returning not OK !
what could be the problem ?
