Hi Neil, Pankaj, All,

Thanks for your responses. Yes Pankaj, I agree that I
should
first search and read the documentation available on
the
system itself before approaching TheList.

But now that the discussion is already on, I think we
should
let it take its on course ;) Right?

Well Neil,
 Here is the story:
1>the pointer is first an "x",
2>then it changes to an arrow,
3>the X configuration offers me to abort it,
4>I accept "Quit".
5>On reboot system works fine; I give "startx",
6>X starts with "Enlightenment" as the WM,
7>but its loading stops at 94%,
8>Desktop looks messy, and I cannot read a thing,
9>I choose "the green option" by guessing without
knowing
what it is for, and I come back to the "$".
10>The Story Ends, and they (me and X) didn't live
happily everafter :(

Whew, it was a long and sad story.I think Pankaj's
point
is valid. I should first RT*M, if there is still any
problem
then.......I would appreciate if you can send the
answer to this mail directly
to me w/o reducing the sig./noise of TheList :)if you
do not mind, that is.

TIA
Regards,
