Hi ajit!
1. If you are using the same winbond driver that I am using, the compiling
command is given in the source code itself, at the beginning or at the end
of the file.
2. Compile it and put it in /lib/modules/2.2.-whatever/net directory.
3. Modify /etc/conf.modules. If the compiled file name is winbond.o then
put in the lines alias eth0 winbond
4. Use netconf or netconfig to set the network parameters like IP, netmask
etc.
5. execute
/etc/rc.d/init.d/network restart
Now it should work.
Folks, did I miss out something?
Regards,
Sandip
