(a) ghane says debain 2.2 is not released yet.
(b) supreet says it'sdownloadable.
are (a) and (b) consistent? is (b) really refering to "frozen" (post
"potato"?)
the reason i am flailing my arms for debain 2.2, is because i naively
assumed that is the best way to get my video driver (intel chipset
810) installed. but perhaps i should just go for a kernel upgrade, and
not worry about debian 2.1 --> 2.2. what say?
on an entirely another note,
i have users logging into samba from win98 clients, so that the f:
drive is their home directory on the linux box. how can the make this
f: shareable to their fellow win98 clients? (i looked at the docs
rather quickly, and couldn't find any solution.)
thanks,
-akr
