Hi all,

I have RedHat 6.1 (kernel 2.2.12-20). I was trying to upgrade my kernel
to
ver 2.2.16.
I did -
save old /usr/src/linux
unpack linux-2.2.16 on /usr/src/linux (new directory)
#make xconfig
(got error ..related to kde..., donot know why. System has
KDE configured)

then,
#make config - completed ...#make modules
# make modules_installs

Up to this point everything was ok. but when I start
#make bzImage in /usr/src/linux
, after 5 minutes,
I got error " System to big to run bzImage"
"try running modules"...Error 2

Any idea what to do ?

?
