Hi,
I just noticed RedHat is offering "official" RPM versions of the utilities
that need to be recompiled from 5.2 to run properly with kernel 2.2.
ftp://updates.redhat.com/5.2/kernel-2.2/
I'm downloading the samba binary and will let you know if it installs the
new smbmount utilities.
