Diald doesn't compile "warning: this is the location of the previous definition"

Help me please. Diald 0,16 doesn't compile. I have one linux
kernel2.0.34, GCC 2,7,2,3. No alterations in Makefile.the following
error occurs when i type 'make depend'

Anyone can help , should i have edit Makefile or config.h . recompile cc
or gcc.
What can i do to solve this problem
