diald-0.98.3 sends only the date and time in which something happens as a message to dialmon (or dialmon catches only the date and time). i.e.: echo debug1 > /usr/lib/diald/diald.ctl In Dialmon, in the message field, I see "Sun Feb 28 12:00:12 1999". The same for up, down, block...., I see date and time when I issued the commands. The state field is ok: down, connecting, connected...... Is this ok, or the message should be something like "changing debug flags to 0x1"?
