Linux2.0.33, libc5, proxy, no tcpwrapper.

As pppd 2.2.0 doesn't understand "nodefaultroute" which 0.98.3 insert automatically, I
tried changing "nodefaultroute" in "-defaultroute" in ppp.c, and even commenting it
out.

So that when diald says:
running pppd: .......
I really see -defaultroute or nothing in place of nodefaultroute.

With nodefaultroute all died as soon as pppd was called.

Now, the connection is estabilished ok, but as soon as I see in the log:

Mar 5 15:53:36 localhost diald[9086]: Running pppd: /usr/sbin/pppd -detach mode
m crtscts mtu 576 mru 576 name username noipdefault lcp-max-configure 20 -vj
Mar 5 15:53:41 localhost diald[8789]: New addresses: local 212.216.109.59, remo
te 195.31.96.58.

the system is not accessible anymore from all the pc's of the lan, for all the time of
the
connection (which obviously doesn't last much since the pc's of the lan cannot access
the
gateway system, let alone the internet).

I tested this on 2 different systems (both Linux), both are not accessible via lan
during
the connection.
All was ok with 0.98.2.

Anyone tried 0.98.3 with a 2.0.x kernel?

Grazie.
