I have a mini network consisting of my Linux box and Win95 PC connected via
an 8-port hub. When I start up the Web Browser on the Win95 PC and try a
web site it hasn't been to before, the Linux box dials the ISP, finds the
IP address of the web site, says it's connecting, but never connects.
It must have something to do with ipfwadm ??? I just recompiled the Kernel
without masquerading to see how that works but I'm sure I read somewhere
that I needed it but then read somewhere else that I didn't.
If anyone has a simple solution to this kind of networking I would be oh so
happy! I am not using DHCP so all machines on my net have static IPs.
