I am convinced this is some 'path' problem that is shell dependant. I
run dctrl at home (Slackware based, but mostly custom) without any
problems, and have had it working at various times on a RedHat machine,
but not consistently. If I try to launch it from X (IE: From a menu in
fvwm) it will always fail, but it will sometimes launch OK if I launch it
from a shell (Certain home directory? Different path??)
Is it possible that the scripts are not able to find the 'mkfifo'
command?
