As root, do "echo 5 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_dynaddr". Put that command
into one of your startup scripts (rc.local).

No, the packets that bring up the link have the wrong return address
(inevitable if you are assigned your IP address dynamically).
An alternative way of handling this is to ensure that the net only comes
up on a name resolution request. Arranging that is more complicated, but
can be more rewarding under certain circumstances.
