Diald first reads /usr/lib/diald.defs which normally contains
protocol rules, then /etc/diald.conf which normally contains
global things - often filter rules. Finally it parses the
command line which usually gives link specific things and
may include requests to read other files.
Anything that bends this too far is asking for it. Specifically
anything that expects to use diald.defs for anything other than
protocol rules can expect to get trashed in the future. Diald.defs
should be assumed to be private diald stuff. When the new multiprotocol
stuff is done it *will* be overwritten.
If in doubt specify config files on the command line.
