Folks,
2 questions:
First at http://www.loonie.net/~eschenk/diald/diald-faq-1.html#ss1.5, the
FAQ says "Copies of the archive can be obtained at
ftp://rex.isdn.net/pub/diald. " meaning this mail list. but the ftp server
doesn't allow anonymous. how to get in?
Second, my original problem is diald won't build on my newly built linux
box. I am building a firewall system with RedHat 5.2 and kernel 2.0.36.
make compiles diald.c and finds definition conflicts like
/usr/include/linux/in.h vs /usr/include/netinet/in.h
My original installation process had the usual difficulties so I am not
sure about the soundness of my build environment. I worked through the
various C Development packages by hand with RPM and believe these include
files came mostly from glibc-devel RPM. Anyhow the whole system is from
the same RedHat cd so they should be compatible.
The diald.h comments about gcc complaints and uses some defs to address
this, but I can't decode whether they are effective on my setup.
Advice?
How about a binary distribution somewhere so I don't have to set up a
development environment at this time?
Thanks,
Clark Briggs
