I used to run an X server on the same box diald runs on. No problems.

Now I run an X server on a Win95 machine and have dctrl use that display. It
keeps locking up. This may happen once a day, or once every few minutes and
drives me nuts. I don't have the exact error message handy, but it's
something about an endless loop in tcl_eval. Does this sound familiar to
anyone? Is there a fix? I'd be happy to provide any details needed to track
down this bug. Of course, it may turn out to be a bug in wish.

info:
Diald version: 0.16.4-7
Tcl/Tk 7.6/4.2 (I think)
XoftWare X server

I also have some feature requests:

A hold button to suspend updates to the connection queue display. While on
hold, the user can scroll the display and copy from it.
I *really* want some command line options to specify which options should be
enabled when dctrl starts. I'd like to do something like this:
dctrl --graphicalLoadMonitor --packetQueue.
