That's what I've done, too (though I used forwarding-only and omitted the
root servers), but even after having done it (and redone it for the newer
bind sytax, and done and redone the setup for the lab), I can't say that I
think setting up bind is _simple_. Not compared to adding a few lines to
/etc/hosts, anyway. :-)
