hmmm...

looks to me like the problem is with the last line.  What is your   
"default?"

I would have expected it to read something more like:

0.0.0.0  0.0.0.0  0.0.0.0         U    0      0       11 ppp0

which translates something like: all packets (wildcard) which don't match   
any of the above routing rules should be though gateway 0.0.0.0   
(wildcard) through the ppp0 interface.

i have 2 linux machines setup the same way except one machine has 2
ethernet cards and the other only has one.  I've successfully setup
masquerading on the machine with 1 ethernet card. and when I tried the
exact same setup on my other machine, the client machines can't seem to
get to the internet.  here is my route table... can anyone help? thanks.
