stick this in your firewalling script, either rc.local, or whatever. if
you use ipchains, you'll have to convert it or use the ipfwadm script
from ipchains.

/sbin/ipfwadm -F -a deny -P tcp 0.0.0.0/0 137:139
/sbin/ipfwadm -F -a deny -P udp 0.0.0.0/0 137:139

The problem is with netbios packets. You might try disabling netbios
packets
altogether
or running a chacheing nameserver on your linux-box.
