Why did you create /dev/tap0 and what minor/major you used?

The log shows you're using slip instead of tap.

To use tap you need:

1)  support for tap in the kernel/modules
2)  add to /etc/conf.modules:

alias tap0  ethertap
options tap0 -o tap0 unit=0
