Another possible solution could be tcl/tk. Since its a cross platform
language, you could build all the nessesary diald scripts. Then if its run
from Windows, the tcl/tk program could ftp the files to the server, or tell
the user where to put the files. If run from the linux box, it could do all
the config then and there.
