Hello,
Yesterday, I took about 2 hours to find out how to change diald's
monitoring message format. In diald-control man page, it says:
monitor [<file>]
Ask diald to dump monitoring information to the
named pipe. ...
It's wrong. The correct one is:
monitor [monitor-flag] [<file>]
The optional parameter monitor-flag controls monitor's format. The
default is 0x060000FF. Detail about this parameter is located at about
line 120 of diald.h (0.99.x)
I'm writing CGI perl-script for BASIC configuration and controlling of
diald: serial device, serial speed, phone number, PAP user and password,
operation mode (auto, manual), etc. There (currently) is no plan for
filter, though.
I'll release it when it ready enough for first beta test.
Bye,
Joke.
