Phoebe (www.phoebe.com) has a 5-year warranty on 56K Rockwell dual-mode
(V.90/k56Flex) autoswitchable voice speakerphone fax/data modem. I have
a model CMV1456VQH-2MRA that cost me $35 at a computer show. Might be a
little more elsewhere.

I've been using it about 6 months and am more than pleased with it. Has
jumpers to set IRQs and ports, so linux uses it as-is.
