i've installed the diald rpm, that part was easy.
i did...
rpm -i diald.samething.rpm
i must 1st tell you that i have a ppp-on script working great.
./ppp-on
lynx
and i surf, no problems
then i edit diald.conf and placed the commands i thought needed,
then ...
diald #to start diald
ping whitehouse.gov
nothing happens,
thought ... maybe resolv.conf wasnt working properly?!?!
(but it worked great with ppp-on)

nothing happen,
but when i quit lynx, diald made the connection, aldow the autentication
part didnt work
i was planning to send you the diald.conf + the dialer script, but i
brought them to work in a linux formated disk, so i'm not able to to
read it.
what i'm now asking is...
can you send me over your diald.conf + options + configuration files
related???
