I am setting up diald for the first time on a Redhat 6.0 Linux box. I have
diald 0.99-1 and can't get it to work properly. My pppd script works fine
without diald but if I run diald I cannot get connected to my ISP and pppd
is returning the following error:
pppd[1065]: Protocol Reject for unsupported protocol 0x7263
I have tried just about everything to get diald to work and now this is my
latest problem. Another question I have is that if I don't have proxyarp in
my diald.conf file when I first start diald it will immediately dial my ISP.
It seems that diald is making a request for some IP address that is
different everytime. Diald still encounters the same error as above with or
without the proxyarp option. Do I need the proxyarp option?
Any suggestions?
