You may as well get diald-0.99.1 from http://diald.unix.ch/download/
I don't think rpms exist (yet) for architectures other than i386. I
don't remember seeing an rpm for Alpha when I went looking for one for
my sparc.
Which isp are you dialling? Demon, I take it. Freeserve in the UK can be
picky about ppp config. Email me if you want help with Freeserve.

I don't know much about the TA, though. Sorry.
