Hi, I am trying to get diald 0.99.1 to work but there is something thats not working fine. I'm using slackware 3.6 patched up to have kernel 2.2.10 and pppd 2.3.7. The error message i'm getting is: Jul 22 20:29:36 pocky chat[14775]: Can't get terminal parameters: Invalid argument In diald.conf i'm using this lines for the device and connect: device /dev/ttyS3 connect "/usr/sbin/chat -f /usr/lib/diald/connect" and connect is as follows: TIMEOUT 75 ABORT "NO CARRIER" ABORT BUSY ABORT "NO DIALTONE" ABORT ERROR "" "AT\&F\&C1\&D2" OK "" ATDT3180002 CONNECT "" I have worked with diald 0.16.5 with no problems in kernels up to 2.0.36 but now nothing seems to work. Every time I feel I have to go deeper and fear that the solution is in the front of my nose.. I've checked the chat.c file that comes with pppd to see where the message might be originating, but found little or no clue to what could be wrong. I've read the 900 messages I have from this list and can't seem to find a solution. Does anyone have an idea of how this could be solved? Thanks for any help..
