I've now changed TCP_SYN_RETRIES to 10. It didn't make any difference.
Starting, say, a telnet connection on the diald machine itself is fine,
and always has been.
But starting a telnet connection from a masqueraded machine fails - it
sits and never gets any further.
Can someone point me (us?) in the right direction to get the
masquerading problem fixed?
Thanks
Simon
