Using recent version of DIALD with recent version of ISDN4Linux

Hello All,
 I have been using diald for a while now to control the modem, now we have
ISDN. It seems that autodial and auto hangup seem to be broken/unreliable in
ipppd. I am wondering if any experience in using Diald with ipppd and mppp.
