The crypt, and related, functions are in a separate library, not a part
of libc. Therefore you have to tell the linker about the library.
Look in the Makefile, if there's one, and add or edit the LIBS line to
read
LIBS = -lcrypt
I am assuming you have the crypt library, of course.
You really should limit such questions to the correct group. You are
more likely to find people who know about such things are are willing to
help.
Also, when reporting error program error messages, resist the urge to
retype the error. Save and paste it verbatim. Such errors usually
contain useful information that is often lost in the transcription.
