Well,

I am not a security expert. I have portsentry installed on my machine, and
somehow diald triggers it. This led me to ask if there were any security related
problems with diald! After all it binds all udp ports if I am correct (or
something similar) or maybe it is tcp. I can't really remember.

I also don't understand why it needs to set my ip to 10.0.0.1 even though my
connection gives me one. It also sets a broadcast of sort. Is this normal,
secure?

For now I have disabled it(not that I am anal about security!)

Anyway portsentry is set to do stealth defense at minimum strength!
