Dear listreaders,

I progressing in realising a diald/pppd link.

Diald is now up and running with the settings below.
when I ping,it starts dialing and makes a connection to my ISP.
Instead of a working connection I get a time out on my pppd.
(see the /var/log/messages below). In the conversation with my ISP
I ask for a ppp connection with my username (ppp.name). When I make the
connection with minicom or ifup ppp0, my ISP gives the local and remote
IP numbers.

Can you see what I am doing wrong?
How can I improve debugging?

Thank you in advance.
