Most important to learn is that replies to an e-mail thread should have
something to do with the thread, not a completely unrelated topic.

You should untar in to a temporary directory, and follow the
instructions in README to build and install.  It's rather easy.

Not really, but it's the chat script that really matters.  If you got
ppp-on and ppp-off to work it should be not to hard to configure
everything.
