I'm new to the list and this question has most likely been asked before. My
dialin ISP uses PAP to authenticate the user. With PAP there is no visible
chat going on. If I use dip to dial in, I get a login prompt that does not
work with my userid and password given by my ISP (which is
worldnet.att.net). I know in order to get diald to work I need a chat
script for the prompts, but if I can't get the prompts. What do I do to get
diald going with a PAP account? Connecting to my ISP using the control
Panel->Networking and activating the PPP line in Redhat 6.0 works
correctly.
